How I help
Relationships
Relationships can be our greatest support and our biggest source of pain. Individual therapy can help you understand your patterns and build healthier connections.

You might notice
- The same arguments again and again
- Feeling unheard or alone in a relationship
- Difficulty trusting others
- Struggling to set boundaries
- Family conflict or separation
- Repeating patterns from the past
How therapy can help
We explore how you relate to others, what you need and what gets in the way, at a pace that feels right for you.
Understanding your own patterns often makes it easier to communicate clearly and choose relationships that feel safer and more fulfilling.
Questions
Common questions
What happens in the first session?
We talk about what brings you here, your background and what you would like to change. I explain how confidentiality works, and together we agree on goals and how often to meet.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what you are working on. Some people come for a short number of sessions for one issue; others prefer longer-term work. We review progress together regularly.
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a well-researched therapy that helps the brain process traumatic or distressing memories so they feel less overwhelming. It is recommended in NICE guidelines for PTSD.
