Questions about therapy
If your question isn’t here, send it to me and I’ll be happy to answer.

Can we talk before I book?
Yes. Your first conversation with me is friendly and no-obligation, a chance to explore your needs and see if we’re a good fit. Call, email or send a message.
How do I know if counselling is right for me?
If something has been weighing on you for a while and talking to friends or family hasn’t been enough, counselling can help. You are welcome to get in touch with any questions before booking.
What happens in the first session?
We talk about what brings you here, your background and what you would like to change. I explain how confidentiality works, and together we agree on goals and how often to meet.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what you are working on. Some people come for a short number of sessions for one issue; others prefer longer-term work. We review progress together regularly.
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a well-researched therapy that helps the brain process traumatic or distressing memories so they feel less overwhelming. It is recommended in NICE guidelines for PTSD.
Do you offer therapy in Romanian?
Yes. I offer sessions in English and Romanian, face to face in Windsor, online or by phone.
Is online therapy as effective as in person?
For most concerns, research shows online therapy works as well as in-person sessions. You need a private, quiet room and a stable internet connection.
Which areas do you cover?
I see clients in Windsor, and people come from Eton, Old Windsor, Datchet, Slough, Langley, Maidenhead, Virginia Water, High Wycombe, Bracknell, Sunningdale, Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross. Online sessions are available across the UK.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please let me know at least 48 hours before your session if you need to cancel or rearrange it.
Ready to talk?
Call, email or send a short message to arrange your first session. I usually reply within one working day.
